DIY Christmas Advent Calendar

Hey loves!

I don’t know about you, but Christmas starts for me once November 1st hits. The Christmas decor and music all come out and the Christmas shenanigans begin! I decided to start a holiday segment on the blog where I share all my favourite holiday DIYs, treats, fashion, and more! If you know someone who is just as obsessed with Christmas like I am, then I got the perfect DIY to kickoff the holidays.

The past few years my boyfriend has been giving me advent calendars, where I get to open one present a day starting December 1st, up until the 24th. This year, I decided to surprise him by making a customized one (I blocked him from this post so he can’t see!!).

Only days one to nine are shown here

I decided to fill the box with a bunch of “stocking stuffer” items:

  1. Chocolate. Lots and lots of chocolate.
  2. Candy (lollipops, jolly ranchers, candy canes, licorice)
  3. Popcorn
  4. Beer
  5. Socks
  6. Underwear
  7. T-shirts
  8. Toques
  9. Mittens/Gloves
  10. Scented candle
  11. Giftcards

From there, I just alternated and repeated the gifts on different days. But, I also made sure the best ones were towards the end. It’s best to plan out which presents will be opened on what day, so make a list!

I wrapped each one individually and made cute number tags that I attached. Then, I started putting them into the box.

Here’s everything in the box!

I love this DIY because it’s really simple and thoughtful! If you decide to try it out, let me know in the comments below and send me pictures! 🙂
